How do I found out what video card and sound card i have on my computer.?

I have windows vista btw. I could only find my processor, RAM, and system type by going to control panel then system and maintenance. I still need to know my video and sound card types.|||go to your device manager and it will tell you what you've got.



click start

go to control panel

click on the device manager icon

scroll down to the devices you want to know about.



your video card type will be under the "display adapter"

Click system.

Click Hardware.

Click Device Manager.

Click Video Cards.

By the way, this will give you the DRIVER device name, so if your using the wrong driver, it might be different.



Also, you could open your computer, and google the serial number on the card.|||OK the EASIEST way is to go do this:



Start>Run>dxdiag



You can click on the tabs and look through everything you need, you can also do DirectX tests if you need to.

4)CLICK ON DEVICE MANAGER

5)CLICK ON THE PLUS SIGN BESIDES SOUND, VIDEO AND GAME CONTROLLERS
