How do i find out what Video card i have on my laptop (vista) ?

i need to know the video card capabilities on my ASUS laptop to see if i can play a game on it sufficiently.

does anyone know how i find this specification on my vista laptop?

thanks|||device manager and click on the vid adapter.|||You can go to the ASUS website and look up the model of the laptop then look at the specs or

right click on the DESKTOP go to properties and settings and it should show the model name of the Video card well what driver is there which will tell you what you need to know to google the specs.

of you need the memory status and cpu just right click on my computer and go to properties and it will be there on the main screen.|||First, try to locate/find "System Information" or "System Properties" from your laptop by right-clicking "My Computer", select "Properties". This will open the "System Properties" window. Click "Hardware" from the tab menu. Then click "Device Manager". This will open "Device Manager" window. After this, locate "Display Adapters". From this, you may find-out what video card is currently installed in your laptop.

Additional information:

To view the Properties of the installed video card, just right-click the name of the video card then select Properties.

Hope this helps ;-)|||Okay, under Start Menu/Programs, go to Accessories/System Tools, and there should be System Information. That should list what your GPU is. Alternately, go to Display Properties, click the Settings tab, then click the Advanced button. That will open another window. Click the Adapter tab, and whatever it lists as your adapter is what kind of video card (laptops don't have cards. It's an embedded GPU.)|||Go into the device manager and look to see whats under video|||device manager

display adapters....it could be an ATI Radion which is a very good one|||dxdiag in run my friend, and then go to display tab
