if i got a new video card could i have it installed?|||no, not a desktop one, they make external laptop ones but rare and expensive to find, close to a thousand....|||It is very, very rare for laptops to have on-board video that can be upgraded. I'm aware of a few models that had this feature, but to my knowledge, none of them are produced anymore.
In general, the only things you can upgrade on a laptop are the hard drive and the memory.
If you want to be able to upgrade the components of the computer, buy a desktop next time.|||no you cant, your best thing to do is buy a desktop computer. you can always upgrade a desktop pc with new video cards, etc..
to get a laptop upgraded will cost more then you paid for you laptop. and its risky. i wouldnt do it if i was you|||It may well be possible, yes, on some computers.
