Is it okay to run video card fan 60% the whole time?

I have the ati radeon 3850 and it runs hot when i leave it to default settings. Will it damage the video card fan if i leave it running at 60%?|||yes|||Well how hot does it run? unusually high end video cards run hot. It should be fine on default fan settings, unless you over clock it. If you over clock your video card lets say by 20% you will make your fan run 20% faster. Running it on faster setting than normal will not hurt your card in short run, but it will cut down your fan's lifetime.
