If I'm sending the laptop video output to my TV with a VGA cable, will the quality of the video card affect the quality of the video I see on the TV? Specifically, I want to watch movies on my laptop, but send the video to my 32" LCD TV.|||No
32" TV, thats probably 720p max.
No laptops graphics should struggle at that resolution, its around the same as any 15.4" laptop screen.
The quality is not affected hugely by the graphics card, you would really have to know what you are looking for to notice any difference between one card and the next for video payback.
