How do i know how much MB/GB a video card is?

If i have the name of a video card, how do i know how much MB/GB it is?

Because i want to buy a computer and/or a laptop.

So is there any kind of site where i can find this out?

BTW: my brother says a video card at a laptop is harder to find or something. I don't really understand that.|||A video card on a laptop would most likely be soldered directly onto the motherboard. Laptops can overheat and turn off when playing a game. Desktops are by far the best choice for a gaming computer. And do not get a slimline desktop because some of them have no room for an extra internal harddrive. Desktops can have better cooling systems. Desktops have better ventilation. Desktops are more quieter during game play. And no $200 battery to replace in 18 to 24 months. And if you spill on a desktop keyboard, you most likely only replace the desktop keyboard. If you spill on a laptop, you most likely have to replace the whole unit. And a spill is not covered under warranty. I found one good website for a certain brand of video cards.

Many greenhorns think their laptop has a video card. Many just have motherboard graphics. There just is no physical room for a video card in a laptop and that video card would need its own ventilation/fan unit.|||Hello. Since you know that name of the video card, you could visit the website of the company that makes the video card. They usually have information the amount of memory on their video cards. Alternatively type in the name of your video card into a search engine such as Google and see what information you can find.
