Where can i find the sound card / video card of my desktop pc ?

i cannot download any games coz it always says that i should check my video card. and my pc dont have any sound , where is the sound card loacted ?|||If you haven't installed any hardware inside your PC then it is probably a tiny little integrated chip on the motherboard. It would be difficult to locate it, you would need to look at the print on the chip and cross reference it to check whether or not if it is your sound card.

If you just want to check what type of sound card you have from your PC you can go to Start>Run and type "devmgmt.msc" in the run command. Then scroll through the list of devices yo have to check what sound card you have or don't have. Then you can install drivers (as globeweasel suggested) for your soundcard from here by checking for updates and then installing them.|||its located in your desktop so check if any cables are loose or its not connected right but you have to do this when your pc is shutoff and the power cord is unplugged.

If that doesnt work go to your Pc's manufactuar's website and see if you can download the drivers for your soundcard and grafics card incase they werent pre installed or something happend.|||it's inside, but likely all you need is updated drivers for it. look in windows help for info, then devise manager at drivers. and if it don't work, it's likely you or some software has done something to stop it working.|||In your computer.
