Do i need to buy a new video card or can update it?

I just got the Sims 3 today and it says "device 0 cannot run this title

your video card does not appear to support at least shader model 2.

HELP!|||Your PC has outdated/weak integrated graphics. If your PC has a graphics expansion slot 4X/8X AGP or PCI Express (NOT slow PCI), buy and install a decent compatible graphics card. Even current $35 graphics cards should have no problem playing Sims3.|||Shader models are not software they are architectures on which the hdr lighting shadows and shaded textures are decided.

for eg- shader model 3.0 = unified shader model <same as next gen consoles. so it means that if you have shader model 2.0 then your shader core is phsically based on the 2.0 architecture.therefore you have to buy a new graphic card.

they are really cheap now but i suggest u wait for dx11 to come. then buy an ati u r sure to get PURE FUN from it.
