I previously had to reinstall windows xp on my computer and now when I go to load pc games i get messages saying i have 0mb of space. I have checked and it seems that the computer does not recongnize that the video card is there, is there any way of fining out so i can go to a website and reinstall the software. All help is greatly appreciated|||When you reinstall the OS you have to load up the driver as well.
To find what card you have go to the control panel and click on system then hardware tab then click device manager then expand system devices. it's in this list
Good luck|||1. Go to start button (bottom left of screen)
2. In search type run and hit enter (this is a run command)
a little run window should appear
3. In the run window type the command dxdiag and hit enter
this command is basically a diagnostics for your direct x... although it does provide the name and manufacturer for your graphics card...
It will run a diagnostics blah blah if there is a problem...
most likely your driver for your graphics card is out of date and you may need to update it... to do so go to the manufacturers website... there you can find a list of different types of graphic cards... look for your graphic cards name and update your driver
good luck to you and i hope this helps|||http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/185…
