I need to buy a PC with an HDMI option on my video card. How to I ensure the card is HDMI compatible?

Can I just buy a video card with this compatibility or would I need a new PC? It would be nice to have either option available. Is this a standard feature on some of the newer PCs? Thank you.|||It's a standard feature on most newer PCs, but you should be able to buy a graphics card with that option instead of replacing your existing PC.

HDMI is a different physical plug than DVI or VGA. See this image for a comparison:

The smaller one is the HDMI. A video card with HDMI output would state that prominently somewhere on the package or in the description of the product online.|||what do you mean with HDMI compatible? like the HDMI cable? if u mean that there is no such thing from an videocard output there is only DVI and VGA. Im guessing all u want is a HD resulution? Get a new videocard for like 200 bucks will do the stuff
