The screen saver can't run because it requires a newer video card or one that's compatible with direct 3d?

I have a Sony Vaio VGN-FJ170 and have just installed Windows 7, all drivers have loaded apart from video controller, seems Intel don t have a driver for windows 7 for my video card, is there any way to get around this problem. I have tried to install the xp driver but it fails.

Thx for any help.|||Unfortunately the Intel GMA 900 does not support Vista nor windows 7, there are no graphics drivers for this chipset on either of those operating systems.|||what operating system are you running?

if your running windows 7/vista(should be the same) follow these instructions to see if it helps.

start > right click my computer > manage > on the left hand side on the new window that pops up should be a section called 'device manager' > there should be some '?' in yellow under the section 'display drivers' right click on them and click 'update'

i advise you do this for any yellow '?' found in device manager|||Hi then visit the sony website for a suitable video driver.
