Is the 128mb agp video card better and faster than the 256mb?

i need a new agp video card for my computer but don't know what to get. is a 128mb card better and faster than the 256mb? i recently had a 256mb and my games were going pretty slow. which one is better and where can i get one?|||no the higher the number the more memory its not always fast its the clock speed you need to look at but just to but your answer simply no 256 is better then 128. if you are looking for a new agp graphics card find one with (512mb) of ram and (agp 8x) hope this helps|||The memory does not matter that much if the processor is not fast enough. Either way, AGP is old and that kind of memory in any video card today is minimal. If you had to choose, look at the speed, not the memory size, which can be slow or fast. If you want, take a look at this:

Which about the best AGP card you can get, or browse the others.|||you wont notice a difference between 128mb and 256mb of ram on a agp video card...the more ram the better sometimes.....it really depends on your resolution your playing at...basically 1024x768 is a good resolution for that memory amount...

if yours games are lagging its the core clock speed and memory clock speed that hold it back....your cpu plays a role in it also...the video card may not be able to keep up with the cpu or vise versa....agp cards are slow compared to the PCIe video cards also....you may wanna look into getting a new motherboard that supports PCIe technology......

if you want a agp card here is a lot of them to look at.....you should find something you like/can use......here is 3 pages of them....
